Monday, September 17th – Industry Happy Hour with Knob Creek at drink.well. (207 East 53rd Street) 5:30-7pm. Complimentary light bites, cocktails and tastings of Knob Creek Bourbon and the newly released Knob Creek Rye. Free for USBG members. No RSVP required.
Monday, September 17th – Tenneyson Absinthe Happy Hour at Four Seasons Austin. Cocktails by Travis Tober with food pairings, from 6pm-8pm. All cocktails and bites $5-$6.

**Friday, May 11th - Rare Brandies Tasting with Charles Neal** – Lenoir – 1807 South 1st Street. Charles Neal, a renowned authority on cognac, armagnac, calvados and eau-de-vie, will guide us through a tasting of rare & unique spirits, giving us a look at these tipples through the eyes of an expert. Due to the level of utter awesomeness associated with this event, there are only 20 seats available and an RSVP is absolutely essential. **Wednesday, May 9th - “Tales of the Cocktail Texas Tour” Preview of the 2012 Tales of the Cocktail conference, held each July in New Orleans. Join Ann Tunnerman, founder of Tales of the Cocktail for a special preview of this year’s conference. Food, cocktails and even some door prizes will be on the agenda. Time and location TBD.
